The Young Hydrologic Society (YHS) is an initiative that aims to connect young hydrologists and to stimulate their active participation in the hydrological sciences community. The initiative was set up in 2012. During this interactive splinter room meeting we would like to show you what happened in the first three years and what are the next steps to fortify the goals of the initiative.
The meeting is divided into three parts: (1) Opening and Introduction: here we introduce the YHS team members and briefly discuss the motivation for this initiative. (2) What we can already deliver: here we discuss our progress and introduce our current deliverables. (3) Future plans: an open discussion about possible future steps of the YHS and the possibility of your involvement
We invite early career hydrologists, MSc and PhD students to participate in this meeting. For more information we refer you to the YHS website www.younghs.com and the YHS LinkedIn group: http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=4723306&trk=myg_ugrp_ovr
