CL1.01/AS4.13/OS1.20 INTIMATE: INTegrating Ice core, MArine, and TErrestrial records (co-organized) |
Convener: Christine Lane | Co-Conveners: Didier Roche , Irka Hajdas , Achim Brauer , W.Z. Hoek , Christof Pearce |
The robust integration of quantified palaeoenvironmental and palaeoclimate data from ice-core, marine and terrestrial records is critical to a better understanding of the timing, mechanisms and impacts of past climate change over the last glacial cycle. This session, organised by the INTIMATE network, invites contributions that focus on one or more of the following areas: the latest developments in quantified climate reconstructions; chronologies for palaeoenvironment and palaeoclimate archives; progress in modelling mechanisms of past climate change; and research into the nature and variability of past climate impacts on the environment.
