The scientific program of this session is dedicated to Experimental Mineralogy, Petrology, Geochemistry and Volcanology. After the disappearance of the biannual meetings of EMPG, we think that EUG can offer an opportunity for the community of experimental Geosciences to find a durable place to meet around the questions raised by the experimental approach. All different aspects of experimental geosciences are welcome: Cosmochemistry to deep Earth studies; environmental geochemistry to applied mineralogy; chemical and physical properties of fluids, melts glasses and minerals, low- and high-temperature processes as well as new experimental developments. Theoretical modelling is also suitable if used to interpret experimental results. The list is not exhaustive.
