This short course is open to EGU attendees interested in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships program (IF) funding opportunities. The session is addressed to PhD students, Post-docs, early-career scientists and also to any potential supervisors of Marie Skłodowska-Curie IF applicants. The aim of this short course is to provide general information about the fuding scheme and evaluation process, recommendations and tips to future applicants through presentation from several relevant actors of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie IF “Environmental and Geosciences” evaluation panel. The session will include:
- Opening statement by the Chair of the “Environmental and Geosciences” evaluation panel
- Introduction & background information of the program and the evaluation process by a Vice-Chair of the “Environmental and Geosciences” evaluation panel
- Recommendations and tips from an evaluator of the “Environmental and Geosciences” evaluation panel
- Experiences from 2 former IF grantees
- Q&A
