A new format for the Great Debates at EGU, aiming to give a more prominent voice to more EGU ECS members on important research-related issues.
Being an Early Career Scientist (ECS) in the geosciences can be very difficult, especially as securing long-term and permanent contracts often relies heavily on a candidate’s publication record. Is this fair? And if not, then what should an ECS be judged on, and how? This Great Debate allows the people most affected by these issues to debate them and gives you the opportunity to develop some potential solutions.
