Many early career scientists come to EGU looking for inspiration to take the next step in their careers. There are so many opportunities both academic and elsewhere that it can be daunting to know where to start looking and what the options are.
Join us for a panel discussion about everything to do with life post-polar-PhD and expand your ideas about where you might go next. Our five expert panelists come from a wide range of backgrounds; from various stages of academia to applied science, science project management and science journalism. They will give you a little background about themselves before we open the floor for a chaired discussion about all aspects of their careers; how to get there, what experience you might need, what working in a certain career entails!
Come along to listen or participate in what will be a lively and informative discussion. The session is open to anyone at any level in their career. Questions and answers will also be live tweeted!
