The YESS (Young Earth System Scientists) Community would like to announce a “Scientific speed dating” for Early Career Researchers (ECRs)! After a short introduction of YESS we kindly invite you to take part at an interactive and innovative social activity where you shortly introduce your work to other ECRs to get an idea which scientific questions other Earth System Scientists are facing, to get fresh ideas for your own work and to establish potential collaborations. One of the most important aims of a scientific conference is to meet potential collaborators for your work. But it is often the case that ECRs might be afraid of directly asking someone about what he or she is working on. YESS would like to give you the opportunity to put your social skills to work and break the barriers. Meet other young ECRs to foster international and interdisciplinary research!
