Each day, from 10:30 to 19:00 (except on Friday when the programme ends at 17:00), the EGU shows a series of short films and documentaries. These cover a variety of topics in the Earth planetary and space sciences, including natural hazards, missions to Mars, soil research, and much more. Some of the movies are stunning displays of the beauty of the Earth and planets; some focus on specific educational, environmental and geoscientific issues of interest.
