This sessions calls for abstracts that show recent advances in the field of Water Footprint Assessment. We welcome abstracts that assess the green, blue and/or grey water footprint of processes, products, and/or geographic regions at various spatial and temporal scales; and address their sustainability in the context of maximum sustainable water footprints and their efficiency compared to benchmark levels. It also welcomes research applications using the framework of Water Footprint Assessment such as water stewardship, vulnerabilities of climate change to water resources and related water risk assessment.
