The wealth of data from MESSENGER, the first spacecraft ever in orbit around Mercury, has led to many new insights and raised intriguing questions. In short the joint ESA-JAXA Mission BepiColombo will be launched.

This session welcomes contributions on all aspects of studies related to Mercury and its environment. This year’s focus is to highlight all aspects of what the BepiColombo mission is able to measure in order to advance our knowledge on Mercury, its interaction with the environment, and solar system formations history.
