The main objective of the meeting of the SSS7 program group is to discuss the most important current trends and achievements in the study of soil contamination and rehabilitation in context of increasing the efficiency of the group operation. The organizers of the SSS7 session will be invited to share their extensive experience and knowledge in their organization activities. We are going to discuss the prospects and directions of the work of the program group, including new approaches and methods for studying, assessing and predicting the effects of soil contamination in different aspects and at different scales, in order to expand our knowledge on the natural and anthropogenic development of soils, and the consequences of soil exploitation and optimizing soil state to improve human health. The meeting will also address some organizational issues that may be presented to the upcoming SSS general meeting.
