This meeting is intended to create awareness in the geoscience community and beyond that there is a demand for a coordinated effort to consolidate the Cenozoic Geological Time Scale. We want to discuss potential avenues to set up an international consortium to form a synchronised and highly accurate time frame for Earth Sciences spanning the last 100 million years.
