The Tipping Point Modelling Intercomparison Project (www.tipmip.org) is an interdisciplinary model intercomparison project that aims to assess, among other things, the risk of crossing individual tipping points in the cryosphere, biosphere and core circulation systems at different levels of ongoing climate and land-use change. At this splinter meeting, we will provide updates to the community on the current status of TIPMIP, as well as to highlight the ways in which those interested in joining the project can get involved.
