At the Interactive Open Access Publishing Booth, Biogeosciences Co-Chief Editor Tina Treude will be available for a “Meet the Editor” session to answer questions about publishing in the journal. The discussion will cover scope, editorial expectations, and how to prepare strong, interdisciplinary submissions aligned with Biogeosciences. The EGU Outreach Committee contributes the Union's objectives in identifying and highlighting societal challenges as well as increasing public awareness of the scientific work within the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. It has numerous programmes which aim to: (1) train geoscientists in outreach, public engagement, and science communication, (2) facilitate geoscientists to do outreach and public engagement, (3) develop relationships between geoscientists and journalists/media, and (4) support the EGU community to actively engage and interact with each other.
