Session short summary:
This session is is dedicated to highlight advancements and new opportunities for remote sensing of the Earth system. It is a forum where discussing the use of geodetic observation to sense atmospheric water vapor in the troposphere for different applications, ranging from climate to now-casting, and the use of reflected signals for environmental monitoring.
Keywords: Atmospheric water vapour, Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar), Soil moisture, Weather extreme events
