Session short summary:
This session will look in detail at the mechanical interactions between intruding magma and country rock for two end-member rheologies, intact (brittle) rock and poro-elastic mush. We propose both should result in very different deformation styles that should be preserved at micro and macroscopic scales through interdisciplinary systematic observations.
