Land-use and land-cover changes can substantially modify hydrological processes, erosion and sediment dynamics in catchments. This session welcomes studies investigating the effects of past, ongoing and projected land-use and land-cover changes, including their interactions with climate change. Contributions may focus on hydrological or sediment-related processes, or their interactions, using different methodologies: distributed and semi-distributed models, remote sensing, machine learning, data-driven approaches or hybrid modelling frameworks. We particularly encourage studies that work on scenario analysis, model uncertainty, scale effects, process understanding and future projections.
