Small Bodies – Big Impact: Asteroids, Meteorites, Dust, and Space Debris
Convener: Jiri Pavlu | Co-conveners: Cem Berk SenelECSECS, Ingrid Mann

This session brings together researchers studying small bodies, dust, and space debris, and their interactions with planetary surfaces, atmospheres, and the surrounding space environment. The goal is a better understanding of the evolution and composition of small bodies, and of how they influence surrounding environments. We especially encourage contributions that bridge traditionally separate communities, from small-body dynamics and impact processes to atmospheric dust, space debris, and in-situ observations. With BepiColombo entering its science phase at Mercury and Hera exploring the Didymos system, we welcome contributions on small bodies, dust, and their surrounding environments from across recent and upcoming space missions. We welcome early-career scientists.
