The exchange of volatiles between Earth´s interior and the surface reservoirs has shaped the history of our planet. We welcome contributions from field, experimental and computational studies on the reservoirs and fluxes of water, carbon, nitrogen, noble gases, sulfur and halogens in the deep Earth system. This may include studies of volatile abundances in natural samples, such as mantle xenoliths or melt inclusions, measurements of volcanic gas fluxes, experimental studies of volatile solubilities and in minerals and melts, new remote sensing techniques for volatiles in Earth´s interior and geodynamic studies of volatile cycles. Studies on the origin of terrestrial volatiles are also welcome.
