This session will address to current nomenclature and classification issues in mineralogy. Recently discovered new mineral species and ideas to modify existing nomenclature of minerals and mineral groups will be the main subject of the session. Also, new mineral varieties, rare minerals, and new artificial phases related to minerals will be accepted for presentation within the session.
