Outstanding Poster Award

An Outstanding Poster Award will be given at the 13th EMS & 11th ECACM in Reading.

A Select Committee has been established; members are:

- Ingeborg Auer, Austria
- Liz Bentley, UK
- Frank Beyrich, Germany
- Jean Pailleux, France
- Hans Richner, Switzerand (chair)

The selection of the outstanding poster(s) will be based on the following criteria:

- Scientific quality;
- Innovativeness of the approach;
- Potential impacts of the results;
- Visual aspect, attractiveness;
- Clarity/fluency to have the message to the readers.

All poster presenters are asked to put their posters onto the boards at the start of their respective display time (or as early as possible after their arrival at the venue), and the select committee will screen all posters present along the specified criteria.

Award
The author(s) will receive a certificate, one registration fee waiver for the EMS&ECAC 2014 in Prague where the award will be handed over, and the poster(s) will be highlighted on the EMS website as example of Best Practice.

Announcement of the award winner: Friday 13 Septemer 2013, 16:15
The recipient of the award will be announced by the President on Friday, 13 September 2013, 16:15, at the start of the beer tasting and closing event in the foyer of the Palmer building.
