The EMS Committee on Meetings invites all convenors and designated session chairs to this informal meeting on session chairing. Ewen McCallum (who has chaired many sessions at international conferences over the years) will give a few tips how you can well prepare both oral or poster sessions and talk about some of the most common pitfalls.
The meeting will be an opportunity for all convenors to exchange their experiences and inform others on best practices.
This will be an informal meeting, to be continued at a reception for convenors afterwards (by invitation only).
