Practices and advances in atmospheric science education as well as the role of meteorology in the education process will be discussed. Contributions dealing with the presence and content of meteorology, climatology and hydrology in national curricula at all levels of education throughout Europe and beyond are welcome.

In particular we encourage contributions presenting
. the organisation of education and training in meteorology and climatology in different countries,
. the role and methods of both school and out-of-school activities and programs for atmospheric sciences outreach and education at lower levels.

Presentations on the use of new technologies and advances in atmospheric science education, e.g. on computer aided learning, web based courses or other resources presenting contemporary problems and tasks of atmospheric sciences, are solicited as well. Contributions on the role of these methodologies in professional training at national Meteorological Services are also welcome as well as the presentations of educational aspects of EU and national projects.
