COST action MEDUSSE side event 

The COST action MEDUSSE [CA23108] (https://www.cost.eu/actions/CA23108/) organizes a hybrid outreach event on seasonal-to-decadal climate prediction at the University of Ljubljana, room “Dvorana Ivana Hribarja”, on Wednesday 10th September, 16:00-18:00. No registration is required.

There will be three overview talks on atmospheric teleconnections, artificial intelligence and climate services. You can attend in-person and also on-line. Contact the convener to receive the zoom link.

Come and contribute to strengthen climate science across the Mediterranean!

Excursion 1: Radar Center 

The radar system at Pasja ravExcursion 1: Radar Centeran is mounted on a 20-metre tower. Together with the radar at Lisca, it effectively monitors the intensity and movement of rainfall events. The data obtained are crucial for very short-term forecasting of extreme weather events accompanied by high rainfall, which usually leads to flooding.
