Astrobiology of Mars and Icy Satellites
Convener: C. Muller  | Co-Conveners: F. Raulin , O. Grasset , P. Rettberg

The goal of this multidisciplinary session is to discuss the
astrobiology and potential habitability of Mars and icy moons with or without atmospheres, especially Europa, Titan and
Enceladus, but also Ganymede.
The session will focus on the astrobiological aspects (theoretical models, laboratory data, observations
available from current missions and expected from future missions) related to the surface and subsurface
conditions and the possible origins and persistence of life in these icy worlds. In the case of Mars, implications for human exploration will also be considered.
