Recent years have seen renaissance in exploration of the Moon, with multiple missions from multiple countries, that have transformed our view of the Moon and generated new questions and opportunities for research. The coming years will see new missions and a revisiting of the lunar surface, to perform science of relevance to all of planetary science.
In this session new results in lunar research will be presented, highlighting the successes of recent missions and the research that they have driven. The session will also look forwards to forthcoming opportunities for lunar research, made possible through new missions and a renewed access to the lunar surface.
