Europlanet General Assembly

Dear Colleagues,

On Thursday September 21, Europlanet will hold its General Assembly at EPSC2017 in Riga in the Jupiter room at 12:45.
Details of the opportunities available to all members of European planetary science community through the Europlanet Research infrastructure will be presented including free access to a number of field sites and laboratories.

Europlanet’s statement of commitment to diversity will be presented and the launch of the Europlanet Early Career (EPEC) network announced.

Finally details of EPSC 2018 in Berlin and the joint DPS/EPSC meeting in Geneva in 2019 will be given.

All attendees at the meeting are cordially invited to attend to learn about proposed new structures of the Europlanet consortium including the option for individual membership.

Note: Europlanet institutional members (who have signed MOU) will be asked to approve Europlanet’s Diversity statement, the creation of the EPEC and the process for developing new Management structure and revised MOU. Each Institution that has signed the MOU will have one vote.
