Science communication has recently begun utilizing more modes of reaching a wider audience, including podcasting, vlogging or mixed/interactive media beside more traditional approaches such as public talks, experiments, science festivals, articles or books for both younger and adult audience. In addition, citizen science, while existing for a long time, has reached new levels of impact on society. This session is aimed at exploring how planetary science utilizes both novel and rising traditional modes of science communication.
