Group on Earth Observations (GEO) and GEOSS: The next Decade

Public information: The intergovernmental Group on Earth Observations (GEO) is developing its Strategic Plan for 2016-2025, which will be adopted at the end of 2015. This special session is organized by GEO to engage the broader community in a discussion on how GEO and GEOSS can best serve the relevant stakeholders. One of GEO’s key deliverables is the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS), which will serve environmental data, knowledge and information to users. GEO invites input to guide the next phase of the GEOSS development. During the event the context and plans for the GEO Strategic Plan 2016-2025 will be presented for discussion on the expectations and needs by participating stakeholders.
