This workshop will consist of two parts which are planned as lunch events of 1 hour each on two consecutive days (likely Wednesday and Thursday):

Session 2: Data analysis on droughts and wildfires, and their impacts
This session will show selected applications and analysis of a wide range of data and products, from reanalysis to near-real-time satellite products:
▪ Characterize a drought phase using climate indicators (climatologies, anomalies, quantiles, etc.) based on C3S datasets;
▪ Onset and development of wildfire events in Europe during a drought period using satellite and CAMS products.

Participation in these workshop events is free for all registered EMS2023 attendees.
