Since landing in August 2012, Mars Science Laboratory has been using its suite of instruments to analyse rocks, soil and atmosphere with the aim of determining the habitability of Mars at its landing site in Gale Crater. This session will present some of the results from ChemCam and other instruments which show the compositional and alteration features of the Gale Crater samples.
