The workshop is targeted at communications professionals at European NMHS and is jointly organised by ECMWF, EUMETSAT and WMO. It takes place at the European Meteorological Society's Annual Meeting 2026 in Utrecht, Netherlands.
The one-day workshop is a chance to hear about and discuss topics such as AI tools for communication, weather warnings, data visualisation, the latest weather satellites and many other topics.
A key part of the workshop will be the opportunity for networking and discussion amongst fellow meteorological communications professionals. This will be a valuable opportunity to focus on challenges and lessons learned around weather and climate communication.
